Binghamton Bearcats Take 4th at ECAC Championship

Bearcats Run to 4th Place Finish at ECACs as Paulina Nunez Takes 53rd

The Binghamton Bearcats showed strong at the ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park on November 21 as they placed 4th out of 20 qualifying teams in the University Race. Bearcat freshman Rachel Miura finished 12th overall in 18:28.2 for the 5K course to lead the Bearcats, who finished with 147 points to place behind Marist, Albany and Townsend. Ex-Eagle Paulina Nunez placed 53rd as the 5th Bearcat finisher in a time of 19:32.6. Teammates Alicia Finger placed 23rd, Lindsay Raulli 31st, Shannon Finnegan 34th, Terry Powell 85th, Kim Law 105th, and Amanda Baker 111th in the final race of the season. Another local runner who did well was White Plains' Kaylin Gilmartin Donohue running for Towson who placed 9th.

The Championship Race run earlier was won by Boston College by 54-60 over William & Mary.
